Vimeiro, Torres Vedras and The Peninsular Wars Full Day Private Tour 

Your private full tour will begin with a pick up from your Lisbon hotel or cruise port. The objective of the day will be to show you Vimeiro, the place where the peninsular wars had one of it's fulcral points with it's 19th century battles for the domination of Portugal, and the fortification lines of Torres Vedras, one of the key factors that prevented the Frech sucess. 

After your pick up we will proceed directly to Vimeiro, where we will arrive after a 45min drive. Our first stop will be at the Battle Interpretation Center, built upon the field of one of the biggest battles during the first invasion, and where we can learn all about what has happened during the whole period (approximately 1.30h for the whole visit). After that and depending on your preferences, we may lunch nearby or in Torres Vedras after which we will proceed to visit one of the many forts of the area that made our defense during that complex period. With its interpretation centers we will travel in time and will be just short of holding a musket in the portuguese defensive lines.

Finally, we will end the day with a visit to Sobral de Monte Agraço where one of the most interesting and important town battles occurred.

• Please note that all our prices are per trip and not per person, meaning that the price you see is what you pay for the whole group.
• Depending on the size of the group, the tours are made on a high-end sedan/estate (Mercedes E or equivalent) or on a high-end van (Mercedes V or equivalent)

• All of our tours are normally made in English, but can also be made in Spanish, and of course, Portuguese. Just let us know if you require a different language than English when you book.

If cancelled more than 7 days before the tour: 0% Cancellation fee - Full Refund

Between 7 and 5 days before the tour: 25% Cancellation fee - 75% Refund

Between 4 and 2 days before the tour: 50% Cancellation fee - 50% Refund

48 hours or less days before the tour (including Noshows): 100% Cancellation fee - No Refund
